Manatee Sunrise Kiwanis Supports SOLVE
The Manatee Sunrise Kiwanis Club hosted a Baby Shower for the third year to benefit SOLVE Maternity Homes.
Members donated clothes,
diapers and other baby
items desperately needed
by the new and expectant
mothers at the SOLVE
homes.
Palm View K-8 Service Leadership Programs
Manatee Sunrise Kiwanis Club is proud to support the
PalmView K-8 elementary K-Kids and middle school
Builders Club. The school hosted an Appreciation Luncheon
for the members for the good work they are doing at the
school and in the community. Several of our members
were also in attendance. The students got to share what
their favorite projects were, and how it made an impact
on them and on the community.
Manatee County Fair Corn Dog Booth
We had a great year at the County Fair! Thank you to all those who came out and supported our booth by purchasing a corn dog. Thank you also to the Southeast High School Key Club members who came and helped! We appreciate you!
We were also honored by a visit from Florida Kiwanis Governor Tommy Mills and his wife Kim who stopped in for a corndog and a tour of our booth!
Toy and Food Drive
At our last Toy & Food Drive, the members of the Manatee Sunrise Kiwanis Club, Desoto Crew, Southeast Key Club and even Santa Claus gathered lots of toys for children in need, food for the St. Joseph Food Pantry and diapers for Solve. Thanks to all that helped and those who donated! Your efforts were much appreciated!!
